Motorised Blinds and Awnings are one the fastest growing areas of our industry. The strong Australian Dollar combined with the new Child Safety laws make motorised blinds an important consideration in your investment. 

Stan Bond offers a large range of motorisation for Indoor Blinds, Outdoor Blinds & Awnings and Roller Shutters. Blind can be easily linked into Home Management Systems such as C-Bus or operated by a remote control. In some circumstances a simple up/stop/down wall switch is easiest and provides a very cost effective solution. 

Motorisation brings the following benefits -

• No Cords or Chains which can look ugly especially when the blind is raised.
• Child Safety Laws require internal blind cords to be secured to avoid any strangulation hazard. Often this require a safety tension er device but in many situations these are impractical and ugly. By motorisation blinds the cords are removed and so are the difficulties of conforming to the laws.
• They are easy to use and easy to keep out of reach of children.
• They are quiet and give your home an impressive luxurious feel.
• Allows control of blinds that are out of reach such as external blinds upstairs.
• By adding sun, wind or temperature sensors the blinds can be automated to react to weather conditions even when you aren't home.

Stan Bond recommends motorisation by Nice Australia but also uses Somfy and Motolux motorisation components where requested by customers or where their offerings are more appropriate for the job.
