Vertical BlindsQuality Vertical Blinds - a cheap and classic option for windows and doors
Stan Bond Vertical Blinds (also known as Vertical Drapes) combine the rich look of luxury and elegance with style and substance. Vertical Blinds utilise slim panels of fabric that hang from a top track and are weighted at the bottom which allows for drawing the blades back away from the widow or tilting them to increase or reduce view and privacy.
Stan Bond Vertical Blinds are stylistic and will enhance the view from every room in the house with a modern fabric colour selection and complimenting rounded track profile. The blinds can be fitted to open from the left, the right, the centre or may be centrally stacked and are ideal for sloping windows and very large windows. Vertical Blinds are perfect for regulating privacy and light.
Simple easy-to-use fingertip controls rotate the individual slats through 180 degrees giving absolute control over the light and the level of desired privacy. A translucent fabric selection allows soft, filtered light into the room while maintaining privacy and a block-out fabric will give excellent light control when the blades are shut. The track is very versatile as it can be fitted with a fabric insert in the same fabric as your blades or it can have the stylish rounded profile facing into the room.
Vertical Blinds have a huge range of options and extras. Our consultant will help lead you through the variety of ideas that might suit your home. Blade SizesEvery window is different and for this reason it is very important that we think about the size of the blade that we are putting in your window. In deciding upon a blade size we consider the depth of the reveal, the width of the window itself and whether or not there are any obstructions coming out of the widow such as handles, winders or window fins. The blade sizes to choose from are 127mm, 100mm, 89mm and 63mm. Track ColoursConcealed within the 25mm top track is the vital componentry needed to smoothly and quietly operate your vertical blind. From the outside you can see a modern finish in one of our fashionable colours that compliment the fabric of the blind. Colours to choose from are White, White Birch, Beige, Black and Matt Silver. Chained/Chainless/Sewn in weightsThe decision to go with Chained weights, Chainless weights or Sewn in weights is purely personal. The chain helps to settle the blades into place more quickly than those without chains. For those who do not like the look of the chain along the bottom of each blade or have pets and children, the Chainless weight option may make more sense. Sewn in weights cost a little more but they look very neat and clean. Translucent and Block-out fabricsThe range of fabric options is vast. Translucent fabrics allows soft, filtered light into the room when the blades have been rotated into the closed position. Choose from our range of translucent fabrics when privacy is important but light block out is not. Block-out fabrics are very popular and most commonly used in vertical blinds as they can give privacy, light control and a very attractive and some insulation. The collection of colours range from white to beige to blue, grey, chocolate and even black.
Textured and Plain fabricsIf you would like to add a touch of interest to your fabric choice, then a textured or patterned fabric may be what you are looking for. In addition to diagonal stripes, there are metallic and pearlised finishes that will work with any interior design.
Cord Control and Wand ControlThere are two options for controlling the blades in your vertical blind. The cord control features a chain that you use to alter the openness of the blades up to 180 degrees. Alongside the chain is a cord operation that when pulled will seamlessly drag the blades until they are neatly stacked to the side or centre depending on the requirement of the blind. The second control choice is the wand control. The wand does two jobs in one! Simply twist the wand to open and close the blades and then drag the wand to shift the blades along the track until they cover or uncover the window. Simple! LH Stack, RH Stack, Centre Stack, Split StackWe custom make each Vertical Blind to suit the requirements of your room and your window. This means that due to access you make need your control on the left hand side or due to a double set of glass doors that open in the middle you may want your blades to separate in the middle and rest at each end of the track. We will evaluate your room and ask questions about what you are wanting to achieve to find a stacking solution.
