Fabric Range

Roman Blinds can be made with block-out, translucent and sunscreen fabrics depending on the room and the desired needs that must be met. Stan Bond offers a range of neutral flocked backing on certain fabrics so that you can create a uniform look through the window when viewed from outside of the house. These softer fabrics fold up cleanly and sit beautifully when the blind is raised. There is a large number of colours to choose from in both plain and textured fabric finishes. Roman Style

Roman Blinds use extruded aluminium bars on the rear of the fabric and the fabric is tucked into this creating a crease line from the front. These soft looking panels then fold and raise gently as the blind is lifted up. You can choose to have a valance on your Roman Blind which sits at the top of the blind and when it is raised, the valance conceals the folds behind it.

Jamaican Style

The Jamaican Style operates the same way as the traditional Roman style except that painted or stained timber battens are attached to the fabric at even intervals down the blind. This is a sophisticated, quality looking window treatment and through your choice of fabric and batten colour can look both formal and tailored or relaxed and homely. You can choose to have a valance on your Jamaican style Roman Blind which sits at the top of the blind and when it is raised, the valance conceals the folds behind it.
