Panel Glides, Adelaide’s modern solution for Sliding Doors, Double Doors and Large Windows

The Stan Bond Panel Glide system provides a contemporary method of obtaining privacy and sun protection over large expanses of glass or glass hinged or sliding doors. By using large panels the product can suit a minimalist decorating style and is often used in conjunction with Roman Blinds on widows.

Stan Bond Panel Glides are created from flat fabric panels attached to a simple head rail system using roller-mounted carriers that result in a light weight and easy operation. The fabric panels can then be drawn sideways using either a cord or wand operating system and they sit neatly behind each other. When drawn to the side, they allow access through a door. They are an excellent alternative to using Vertical Blinds over a glass panel door.

Panel Glides are a modern option over large windows, sliding doors and bifold doors. They combine well with Roman Blinds and can be easily operated and moved out of the way for access areas.

Stan Bond Panel Glide panels are easily replaced if damage occurs. This also ensures that panel colours can be updated whenever fashions or individual tastes change. The Panel Glide range features three styles of panel including the Plain Panel, Jamaican Panel and Roman Panel.

Fabric Range

Your Panel Glide can be made from any block-out, translucent or sunscreen fabric in our range depending on what you are trying to achieve in your living space. Block-out fabrics come in a variety of colours, textures and finishes. The translucent fabrics give a soft, filtered light effect to the room through the fabric. Once again, there is a large range of colours and textures to choose from. Sunscreen fabrics allow light into the room while reducing glare. Their open weave allows you to maintain your view outside while adding an elegant and modern touch to this functional door area.

Panel Styles

Panel Glide come in a range of styles to suit ultra modern, beach, contemporary or roman feels.

A Jamaican style Panel Glide is striking yet simple and practical. Each panel of fabric has a series of painted or stained timber battens positioned at regular intervals along the drop, front and back. This detail adds a sense of beauty and design and when used in combination with Roman Blinds with matching battens, your room will feel complete!

The Roman style of Panel Glide uses an aluminium extrusion on the rear of the fabric at set points down the drop of each panel. The fabric is then tucked into this extrusion creating tucks in the fabric at the front. This produces a very stylish, soft and elegant feel to the window covering.

The Plain style Panel Glide is effortless elegance. The panels of fabric hang straight down from the track and are complimented at the bottom with either an oval shaped bottom rail or plain hem with a concealed lathe. The bottom rails come in a range of modern, complimentary colours including Pure White, Bone, Sandstone, Barley, Dune, Bronze Pearl and Satin Black.

Linea Valance Pelmet

The Linea Valance style pelmet is a versatile, neat and uncomplicated. It is available in four colours, Black, White Mist, Cotta and Cedar and in two profile sizes 98mm and 140mm. You can choose to have them as they are or with a matching fabric insert to complement the Panel Glide. The Linea Valance Pelmet system comes as standard with your Stan Bond Panel Glide.
